Laura Peters graduated from the CU Boulder Film Program with a BFA in Film Studies in 2008 Having won several CU Film awards , including a Film Studies Department nomination for the Goldfarb award for her short film “The Little Doll” (2007) and winning the Goldfarb award for “Death of a Prospector “(2008), Laura was determined to pursue her dream of features; her short feature, “The Little Doll“, was featured in the Student Showcase of the 2008 Vail Film Festival and took home Best Film and Best Narrative in the 2008 Big Freakin’ Deal Film Festival.

Laura loves to be creative and is excited to continue her love of filmmaking with Colorado X! In addition to chasing spirits and midnight cemetery shoots, Laura enjoys horseback riding, going on adventures, reading fairytales, and eating Starbursts
